OH NO! MARY J. BLIGE’S DAD IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BEING STABBED!
Thomas Blige, father of Mary J. Blige was stabbed after what looks like a domestic dispute with a woman named Cheryl Ann White. It’s being reported that she is Thomas’ ex-girlfriend and that it all started after he allegedly caught her slashing his tires. After an argument ensued, he was stabbed in the neck. Wow! This is a terrible situation! Our prayers are with the Blige family.

Jay Z said it best….”They even talk about your Baby crazy” When does following celebrities’ lives go too far?
For years people have said that Beyoncé and Jay Z were too private, now that photos of their child are public, adults criticize their child’s natural hair. Halle Berry lost her cool on paparazzi for taking photos in front of her daughter’s school. Now, Joan Rivers, (who is certainly known to not have limits) has called Kim Kardashian’s baby “ugly”. As adults, we need to do better.
Why is Blue Ivy’s hair texture a problem for us? Like Beyoncé said, “It’s society that needs the surgery…”
Even if that is what we think, how dare we be so bold as to say it! But that’s where that “keyboard courage” comes in. How many people would have the guts to say to Beyoncé and Jay Z that their child needs her hair combed? The internet allows us instant access to people we’d never come in contact with, and for some, gives them the desire to bully from behind a computer screen.
I was outraged by Joan Rivers’ remarks. We all should have been. The fact that she would insult an infant is beyond me. I understand she’s a “comedian” and I guess no one is technically off limit's to her. But to call names and suggest that she needs to be waxed is terrible. To place those kinds of image issues on a baby is unforgivable.
So where should the media draw the line? I struggle with this because I live and breathe celebrity gossip too, but there are limits. I find myself shying away from posts regarding kids. I think children should be left alone. Their parents are the celebrities, not them. I think we are too harsh on some child stars too. Lindsay Lohan, Chris Brown and now Justin Bieber have all had their fair shares of brushes with the law. But what message do we send to a 19 year old when we constantly flash their mugshots? Can they ever overcome their mistakes if every time they get into a fender bender, we show a mugshot of a crime from several years ago?
Who do we hold responsible for making sure Hollywood’s youngest members aren’t pushed by the media to the breaking point? Especially when many of us are the ones doing the bullying? Is it the media’s fault for hyping it? Do entertainment shows that feed on gossip and paparazzi photos encourage the behavior? Is it the mainstream media’s fault for making Justin Bieber’s arrest ‘Breaking News”?
Are we so desensitized that we don’t even realize when a line has been crossed? Will we think Kanye’s crazy when he lashes out? Will we cover his meltdown more aggressively than we did the disrespect that was spewed at a child? Should he ignore it? Would you?
Just like Sway, I “Don’t have the answers”. I guess we’ll have to just watch and wait for Kanye’s reaction. Hope that Baby Blue and North are shielded from some of the hatred in the world and that The Biebs gets the help he needs before it’s too late…

Now there is a title I never thought I’d write…well up until recently. It’s almost hard to remember the cute little boy, with the haircut that had everyone going crazy just with his 1st single BABY, which was 4 years ago. Fast forward to recent months, Justin has been exposed by a prostitute, caught up in a paternity war, egged homes, had his cars involved in a few accidents and even had his home raided.
Last night The Biebs was arrested for a DUI in Miami after leaving a club; cops say he failed a sobriety test and was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol and he was also booked for Drag Racing (think the Fast & Furious) in his Yellow Lambo. Geez Justin. Really??
We get you are a 19-year-old “kid,” but hasn’t Lindsay Lohan taught you anything?? You are a multi millionaire, hire a damn driver. You know that EVERYONE knows who you are, the paps are out and some cops are looking to make an example out of you. Why give them more ammunition? We don’t expect you to be a saint, I know I wasn’t at 19, but at least be smart! Justin is currently being held and a bail hasn’t been set yet.

This week, Love & Hip Hop NY couple Erica Mena and Cyn Santana stopped by New York’s Hot 97′ Morning Show (with Peter Rosenberg and Ebro) clarifying just how authentic their relationship is. If you’re a LHHNY junkie, you’re quite aware that Erica, 26, and model on the rise Cyn, 21,have been dating since shortly after Erica had a messy breakup with VH1 co-star and ex-manager Rich Dollaz. Since they (Erica and Rich) have called it quits, Erica has moved on with her lady creating quite a “thirsty” reaction with the viewers and fans. During the interview, the ladies revealed a lot about their sex life-from the size of their boobs, to if Erica uses toys or not and ending with Erica’s carpet munching skills. Also, if you’re wondering if her and Rich still have a fling going on, she clearly states that she has no men in her life and is focused on her girlfriend.

Cyn: She’s very experienced.

Marissa Alexander remains on house arrest, won’t go back to prison
Marissa Alexander is free to go home. No jail time, but she remains on home detention. Her new trial is set for March 31st.
Alexander was in a Jacksonville courtroom today. Her “stand your ground” defense was unsuccessful in a 2012 trial and Alexander was sentenced to 20 years. That conviction was overturned on appeal. The same state attorney who prosecuted George Zimmerman is prosecuting the Alexander case. While in appeal, Alexander is on “home detention.”
During the month of December, Alexander went to the bank, the grocery store and ran other errands. The Duval County Sheriff supervisor who handles the home detention is testifying that she gave Alexander permission to run each “errand.” “I make the judgement call if she can go or not” April Wilson testified this morning.
Prosecutors say Wilson didn’t have that authority. Judge James Daniel – who put Alexander’s home detention order in place – asked Wilson why she thought she had the discretion to allow her to “run errands.” Wilson said she’s operated like this for 17 years in her job and this is the first time a prosecutor or judge has questioned her discretionary permissions.
The state attorney wants Alexander jailed for violating the conditions of her bond. Alexander supporters say the state attorney is singling this case out because Alexander has become an internet “cause celeb” and in the wake of losing the Zimmerman case, they’ve adopted a hardline stance in what will be another high profile “stand your ground” case.
Judge James Daniel said today: “This was a mistake and they happen. This was not a willful violation.”
The state has said it will retry Alexander in the original case – where she discharged a weapon during a domestic dispute with her husband. Her defense says that gun shot was a warning shot that saved her life.
Farrah Abraham Opens Up About Wanting to Terminate Her Pregnancy
Farrah Abraham was dealt quite a hand when she found out she was pregnant at the tender age of sixteen. Sure, this reality star ended up using her pregnancy to her advantage by starring on MTV's Teen Mom and then leveraging that fame to make a successful porn video (as ya do), but it wasn't easy. In fact, Farrah considered terminating her pregnancy, and ultimately decided not to because of her mom's strict religious beliefs.
"I tell my mom that I'm pregnant, and I tell her, 'Here's the form that I need you to sign, you know Plan B, you know, takes it away. Everything's fine,'" Farrah told Dr. Jenn on VH1's Couples Therapy. "And my mom starts crying and then she's like, 'You know, we believe in God, and you're not gonna kill a living thing.'"
If Farrah knew she was pregnant and wanted to take a pill to terminate said pregnancy, it's likely that she's referring to the abortion pill — not Plan B (aka The Morning After Pill), which merely prevents a pregnancy from occurring within the first 120 hours after unprotected sex.
Either way, Farrah's ultimately happy she kept Sophia, but there's no denying that her life would have gone in an entirely different direction had her mom agreed to sign that form. Not only would Farrah never have starred on 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, or Couples Therapy, she would never have starred in a celebrity sex tape. Then again, the best thing about Farrah's life is her darling daughter, and who knows what she'd be doing if Sophia hadn't been born. This little lady is an absolute joy to be around, and clearly brings her mommy lots of happiness!

Was NeNe Leakes Invited to the People's Choice Awards 2014?
If you tuned into the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night, January 8, you may have been wondering why you didn't see NeNe Leakes in the house amongst the Glee crew. We're not sure why NeNe didn't attend, but rest assured, it wasn't because the powers that be snubbed her. NeNe was most certainly on the invite list.
When one of her Twitter followers demanded to know why NeNe wasn't there, declaring her "America's Favorite," The Real Housewives of Atlanta star chimed in with the truth.
"I was invited," NeNe told her concerned fan. Well, that's a relief!
Glee may not have taken home the big prize of Favorite Comedy that night (The Big Bang Theory snagged the award), but the Fox hit didn't go home empty-handed either. Chris Colfer earned himself the Favorite Comedic Actor honor, while Rachel and Santana took the Favorite TV Gal Pals prize, beating out Meredith and Christina from Grey's Anatomy! We bet you didn't see that coming.
Even though NeNe wasn't nominated for anything, we've been loving her as Coach Roz on this season of Glee. Unfortunately, our favorite bust-out-into-song show is currently on hiatus until the end of February. When Glee returns, it will be on an all-new night, Tuesdays, at 8 p.m. ET. The good news is that we'll be enjoying all new episodes for the rest of the season, which will hopefully include more appearances from sassy Coach Roz.

But while both gentlemen have plenty of great qualities, one has been laying 'em out for others to enjoy for a while longer than the other.
Let’s meet the players. In one corner, we have Nelly, aka Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr., who was born in Austin, Texas (shocker!) but has been repping St. Louis for a long time. He came on the scene with the group St. Lunatics back in 1993 and started his solo career in 2000, when he dropped Country Grammar, an album we’re still listening to without a shred of irony.
On the other side of the ropes is The Game, aka Jayceon Terrell Taylor, who came into the world via the city of Compton and still lives in LA. He released his first mixtape, You Know What It Is Volume 1 back in 2002, which made it to the talented talons of both P. Diddy and Dr. Dre. While both moguls wanted to sign him, The Game went with Dre, and forgot about Diddy. The Doctor put him in G-Unit, with 50 Cent helping Game get his name out there. But in 2006, tension grew between the two rappers, and he left the Unit. Repping the West Coast ever since he first came on the scene, JTT has had a number of top performing songs.
Clearly, both men are talented, complex stars, with long futures in front of them — but one of these fellas got a head start. Think you know who it is?

Miley Cyrus Shows Support for Gay Rights
Miley Cyrus has shown her support for gay rights by posing in a Marc Jacobs T-shirt.
The 'Wrecking Ball' singer posted a picture of herself on Twitter earlier today (January 7) with her tongue out, wearing a top featuring a cartoon of two women, a child, and the words: "I pay my taxes - I want my rights. Cyrus simply captioned the picture: "Jacobs by Marc by Marc Jacobs."
The star has previously spoken out in favor of gay marriage, saying in 2012: "Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn't marry.
"And you couldn't have that special day the way your friends do - you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person's shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach,"
Meanwhile, Cyrus was spotted last week kissing a female dancer at a Britney Spears concert.

About time somebody said something!!! In this day in age “THE THIRST” is at an all time high, thanks to social networks ESPECIALLY Instagram. Now there are certain levels to “The thirst.” It’s actually kind of thirsty on all of our parts when we sign up for IG; it’s a site totally based on getting “liked.” When I’m having a great hair day, or new shoes or my abs are looking good, I’ll post to show you all and in return you’ll like the pic or leave comments about how great my hair looks, that you love my shoes and how fast I’ve bounced back after baby, that’s a little thirst too, don’t you agree? Lol. But then there is a whole ‘nother (yes ‘nother, lol) level of the Thirst! Everyday I see women on my TL showing off their bare asses, tits, nipples and some vageens for a couple likes! Ladies, really??? Where has the self-respect gone? Obviously out the window. And what gets me the most are the captions like “I love my new nail polish” while their hand is covering their boob! Girl, no one is looking at that nail polish!!! Most recently, I’ve been seeing women throw themselves at men, especially celebrity men in the comment section (I couldn’t imagine what the personal DMs look like, because they go hard on the public timeline). Comments like “Please follow me” or constantly @ a celeb to get attention, a little thirsty for me but not too bad, but then there are the “I want to f*ck/suck you” comments! Really??? You are selling you cooch over the WORLD WIDE WEB for everyone to see?? That’s cool now?? Am I lost with how a woman is supposed to act?? Things like this will never get you respected. It may get you f*cked, but that’s it! And contrary to what Draya says, you can’t just erase your “hoe-ness!” I guess rapper Wale was tired of seeing the thirst buckets pop up on his timeline so he took to IG to give them this message. And to the fools who post about selling and doing drugs on social media, like Wale said you must want to eat jail food real bad. Idiots!!!
YOUNG JEEZY LOCKED UP FOR BEATING UP HIS SON!
Here is what TMZ is reporting:
Rapper Young Jeezy was arrested in Atlanta for battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats against his own son … TMZ has learned. According to the charging documents — obtained by TMZ — Jeezy got into a fight with his son in a bathroom and he threw his son into the glass shower door, causing the son to hit his head. Then Jeezy allegedly punched him in the face, dragged him into the bedroom, threw him on the bed and pummeled him. According to the incident report, Jerzy's son attempted to escape but the rapper’s bodyguard blocked the stairwell. The docs go on — claiming Jeezy subsequently choked his son and said, “I will kill you.” According to police docs, Jeezy’s son claims his dad said, “I will put a bullet in your head right now,” adding, “If I could get away with it, I would kill you.” The incident allegedly occurred in Sept., 2012.We’ve learned Jeezy turned himself in to authorities Friday after a grand jury warrant for each charge was issued. He bonded out soon after for $45,000.Jeezy’s attorney tells TMZ, “We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy.”
Nooooo Say it isn’t so!!! While I am all for kids getting a “beating” meaning tag that ass or pop them in their mouth when they act up, the details of this are very disturbing! Pummeling your child and throwing them through doors, this is very disturbing. To threaten your own child’s life, with a gun and tell him you’d kill him if you could get away with it, is very scary. What kind of parent could say such a thing?? I’m a HUGE Jeezy fan, so I’m hoping that there is some misunderstanding along the lines here some where!
